Tim Rudd, Owner

​

                                  Tim knows the challenges that families face when making

                                  the decision to age in place.  His father was diagnosed                                            with Rheumatoid arthritis in his early forties and had to                                              retire from his job at the steel mill at the young age of 46.                                        As the disease progressed, his father and mother made                                            the decision to stay in their home.  Many adaptations and                                        modifications to their home were made to fit their health,                                        lifestyle, and abilities.  More recently, Tim and his wife made the decision to stay in their home and age in place.  Like many, they face several physical challenges and are committed to making the necessary modifications to allow them to safely age in place.    

 

Tim has been in the senior living and care industry since 2012 and has helped many individuals transition from home to alternative living arrangements (assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing/long-term care).  In July of 2022, Independent Solutions officially changed its services to exclusively helping seniors to age in place. Tim's personal and professional experiences brings a wealth of knowledge and resources to help you make educated decisions about safely aging in place.

 

Tim graduated from Miami University with a bachelor of science degree in business.  Additionally, he has earned his Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) certification, his Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) certification and his Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) designation.  Tim and his wife, Beckie, have two adult children.  They enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and relaxing by the pool.
