Overview:
The Barrington of West Chester is located off I-75 and SR129. This community is close to the Voice of America Park, general shopping, restaurants, entertainment, golfing, and medical facilities. The building and grounds are well kept and well-manicured. Parking is ample for the residents but can be a little tight for visitors. The building is a four-story structure that houses Independent Living (IL) / Assisted Living (AL) apartments. The apartments are dual certified for both Independent Living and Assisted Living, therefore residents do not have to relocate as needs change.
The lobby is welcoming and opens into a gathering area with tables & chairs and a bistro to the right with a baby grand piano and couches to the left. At the end of the lobby area is a welcoming dining area. This community houses a total of 105 one/two- bedroom apartments that are available in eight (8) different floor plans. A highlight of the amenities includes a theater, billiards room, art room, library, fitness/rehab gym, bistro, several community rooms, walking paths, and planned social activities. This community is also pet friendly.
The Barrington of West Chester is private pay with rates starting at $3900 per month. The community has a rating of 87.3 on the Ohio Department of Aging Residential Care Facility Satisfaction Survey vs. statewide rating of 85.2.
Author’s Notes

I have visited this community on many occasions and have found the grounds and building to be in excellent condition. In addition, I have found the staff and management team very welcoming and caring towards its residents and visitors. The amenities rival and surpass most senior living communities in the area. Although this community is both IL and AL, residents in AL should only require moderate assist. Because of the amenities and location, the community typically has a waiting list.
